Hello,

My name is Andy and I am a volunteer with an annual music festival held in Waterloo Town Square, Strummerfest. 

Strummerfest is a not for profit organization. All proceeds are donatted to Your Life Counts, Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council and the House of Friendship. 

Strummerfest has occurred annually in Waterloo Region since 2012, and celebrates the life and music of Joe Strummer, former front man of the Clash, who passed away in 2002.  This year our event will be on Saturday August 15, 2026. 

We are seeking volunteers to assist with our event.  We are seeking approximately 18 volunteers to assist with various tasks (set up, take down, provide parking directions to bands attending etc.) starting at approximately 9:30 a.m. and finishing approximately at 11:30 p.m. We are planning to divide this into 4 shifts each shift approximately 3.5 hours in length.
